Technically speaking, light is energy in wave or particle form that travels at 186,000 miles/second. A light year is the distance light travels in a year at this speed - almost 6 trillion miles! In 3-dimensional existence, visible-spectrum light "happens" when electrons are excited to a high vibrational frequency and become visible. As light's energy content increases, it can burn a hole through any material in seconds. It can make delicate surgical cuts.
Practically, light brings visibility to our eyes. It guides our path, lights the pages of a book and creates images on our computer screens. Light is a generating energy. It brings physical life to plants, animals, humans, and other "beings", throughout the Universe. It is also re-generating. Light can heal and renew the body and the mind.
While this blog is not a "religious" commentary*, many religions of the world teach that dark intentions can be overcome by the overpowering presence of light. Light overcomes darkness; dark deeds are revealed and suppressed by the light, even to the point of vanishing.
This blog is devoted to revealing the truth about light, or should I say The Light? Light transforms. Light heals and regenerates. Light reveals truth. Light IS truth. When a person is enlightened, they have a greater knowledge of the truth. Light is Love.
As dark is considered the absence of light, the presence of light brings the absence of darkness. The world needs Light in these dark days of economic despair for many and the ravages of war for many others around the world. Humanity is suffering at the hands of humanity. Dark seems to be overcoming Light. But that cannot be the case much longer. The world is waking up to truth and love. The Light is penetrating and transforming all who yearn for a better way, for freedom from oppression and hatred and power and greed at the hands of those with their light disabled for now. That will change in the near future.
The Light is coming. The Light is here. The Light brings conscious awareness of who we really are. We had forgotten why we are here, but we are remembering now and spiritual and physical changes are taking place. It is time to be the Light we hope for.
*The thoughts presented in this blog are intended to be non-religious. Religion has never fixed anything. Religion has messed-up a lot of things. This blog is about Spirit and Light changing the world through Love and Truth. It starts within us, as Jesus said, "Behold the kingdom of God within you."
